Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Quran Academy's website, the My Quran Official mobile application, and related online learning services (the "Services"). By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the Services
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- If you enroll a minor student, you confirm you are a parent/guardian (or have authority) and accept these Terms on their behalf.
- Teachers and staff use the Services only under their academy account and assigned duties.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to students, teachers, or the platform.
3. Classes and academic services
- Classes are typically one-to-one online sessions between an assigned teacher and student.
- Schedules, attendance, homework, and progress tools are provided to support learning.
- You agree to join classes on time, maintain a suitable learning environment, and use video/audio respectfully.
- Contact details between families and teachers are managed through the academy platform; do not misuse the Services to harass or solicit outside the learning relationship.
4. Plans, trials, and subscriptions
- Available plans, prices, class frequency, and trial offers are shown in the app or website at checkout.
- Free trials (when offered) may require saving a payment method. Unless cancelled according to the rules shown at signup, billing may begin after the trial according to your selected plan.
- Subscriptions renew according to the billing interval stated for your plan until cancelled or ended by the academy for non-payment or Terms violations.
5. Payments and invoices
- Payments are processed through our payment partners (including Mastercard Payment Gateway Services / MCB). By saving a card or paying an invoice, you authorize the relevant charges.
- Open invoices must be paid by the due date shown in the app.
- Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension of class access until the balance is resolved.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us in writing.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account, record classes without permission, or redistribute academy materials unlawfully.
- Upload or transmit harmful, abusive, illegal, or infringing content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.
- Use the Services for any purpose other than legitimate Quran learning and related academy activities.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, branding, software, and academy materials are owned by Quran Academy or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Services for personal/educational use under these Terms. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute our materials except as we expressly allow.
8. Third-party services
The Services may rely on third parties (payment gateways, hosting, video calling, notifications). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for outages or acts outside our reasonable control.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Learning outcomes vary by student effort, attendance, and other factors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quran Academy and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the fees you paid to us for the Services in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and cancel eligible subscriptions in the app where that option is available. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay invoices, or if we discontinue a Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including payments owed, IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page on this website or support inside the My Quran Official app.
